There and back again

We’re back in Seattle this weekend for an overnight infusion. Emma was excited to come back — mainly for fancy sandwiches at U Village, Starbucks croissants, and room service fettuccine. Girl’s got good taste and her priorities straight!

We met more of the Rheumatology team who we continue to love, and her nurses are fantastic tonight. We’ll be going home tomorrow if her numbers look good!

Pray with us:

• For her IV — that it doesn’t fail, her draws are smooth, and her numbers keep improving.

• That she’s healed of her infection.

• For no complications, reactions, or side effects from the infusion overnight that disqualify her from receiving the full dose.

• For good sleep in a shared room.

• For Emma’s mind and body to be at peace on steroids. She has a reputation around here for being strong and strong-willed! Prednisone is hard on everyone … and we’ve made fast friends with nurses as it takes a village to meet her demands ;)
